You will create happy, healthy relationships between a child and the most important people in their lives. What you work will involve The Community Support Worker program provides high quality educational learning experiences in the community by providing playgroups and supports to children and parents, carers and families within the Corrimal (2518) and Warrawong (2502) postcode areas. The position is responsible for providing community playgroups, holiday programs and learning through play experiences for children aged 0-12 (and over for specific target groups) and families in the identified postcodes. A component of the role will be to support the planning and Implementation of the 2022 Activity Work Plan. What you need to succeed + Certificate III in Children's Services + Minimum of 2 years childcare sector experience + Proven ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff + Ability to assist in implementing the programs to meet the developmental needs and interests of each child + Commitment to inclusive practices and child protection + Understanding of workplace health and safety and the National Quality Standards + A valid driver's licence. + Maintain a valid paid Working with Children Check through the Office of the Children's Guardian + Evidence from the Australian Immunisation Register that you have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination, or a medical contraindication certificate + Maintain a current First Aid and CPR certification + Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate.
