What you’ll deliver with us  

Reporting to the ‘Community Relations & Partnership Manager’, you will be part of the team, responsible for providing strategic direction, governance, management and activation of key community investments including shared value partnerships, sponsorships, grants, workplace giving and staff volunteering.  


You’ll also

Support the work in collaboration with key stakeholders to deliver on the Community Partnership and Programs Strategy to strengthen our reputation and create positive impact in the communitySupport the development and Implementation of community programs and partnerships for the benefit of the organisation, its team members and Australian communities, and to deliver on the enterprise strategyWork in partnership with the Retail, Brand, Marketing and Communications teams to develop and deliver marketing and communications plans to support the community strategy and enhance the brand and reputation of Australia PostFoster strong and respectful relationships with key Not for Profit partner organisations, community groups, Peak bodies and regulatory authoritiesMeasure and report progress and impact of community activity for Board, Executive and External Stakeholder Council requirementsDevelop operational plans for key community initiatives and projectsDeliver workforce engagement programs in conjunction with relevant stakeholdersUndertake post-implementation analysis of campaign initiatives to ensure learnings are captured, drive improvements and report impact and return on investmentMaintain and build relationships with stakeholders across the enterprise and identify opportunities to support business and product-related initiatives


About you

You have a passion for making a positive impact to the lives of Australians particularly those who are disadvantaged. You are a communications, marketing or community engagement specialist, action-oriented and great at building strong relationships with your stakeholders, internally and externally. 


You’ll also need   

3+ years of experience in delivering community programs and/or partnerships in a corporate, Not For Profit or equivalent environmentA tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, community engagement or community developmentDemonstrated ability to communicate and form working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers, partners and suppliers across a range of sectorsProven track record of delivering, managing and leveraging partnerships across large and complex organisationsExperience in navigating, collaborating and influencing stakeholders within a large matrix organisationAbility to adapt to organisational change, prioritise workload, and problem solveHighly developed communication and writing skills
