The Richmond Campus of Bryant & Stratton College is accepting applications for a Community Relations Coordinator.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Community Relations Coordinator generates leads and enrollments by way of building relationships with organizations and conducting events/workshops that result in leads and enrollments from those entities to ensure campus/market objectives are achieved. The Community Relations Coordinator serves as a liaison between campus leaders and external entities. The Community Relations Coordinator effectively leverages and promotes campus resources, such as use of facilities, services, institutional grants and learning opportunities to employers, high schools, and community stakeholders to establish mutually beneficial relationships. This position has an outside sales expectation with up to a minimum of 50% of work schedule being conducted off campus.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCES:

Skilled presenter, possessing excellent written and verbal communication. Engaging, approachable, confident in content delivery, and able to build commitment in audience members. Required to use CRM system, Microsoft office, conduct multimedia presentations and troubleshoot technological issues as needed. Ability to gain commitment in person and by telephone by identifying clients’ needs and presenting what Bryant & Stratton College offers to meet those needs. Must be able to overcome concerns of clients by identifying the right solutions for their needs. Ability to build relationships and gain trust. Work efficiently through an effective use of time management. Work processes are organized, and tasks are appropriately prioritized. Maintains a customer/student and organizational stakeholder centric approach. Satisfies the prospective stakeholders’ expectations for service; takes appropriate level of initiative to address the needs of prospective students and organizations. Provides follow up in a timely manner. 

The Community Relations Coordinator will also be responsible for the successful implementation of Business and Alumni Development programs by providing leadership in the following job responsibilities: 

Initiate and cultivate employer and community relationships to generate business partnerships, meet revenue goals, advocacy, and opportunities for the College. Market all products of Bryant & Stratton College to employers and key organizations. Research local market employment needs and salary requirements including growth prospects and communicate those needs to the campus. Represent the College at community and high school functions when appropriate. Increase community awareness of the College through public relations activities with the goal of continuing to enhance the brand awareness of the College. Identify opportunities for revenue and lead generation and maximization of all marketing efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree required. Project management experience desired. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Ability to work with little or no supervision. Background check required.
