Community Relations Seasonal Assistant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with various events, programs and initiatives related to the Community Relations department, including but not limited to NFL initiatives, youth and high school football and Legends outreachAid with the support of the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders and Freddie Falcon programs and initiativesCoordinate and execute season long youth and high school football activations, including High School Man of the Year, Trailblazer and Coach of the WeekAssist with all internal and external Legend appearance requests, including leading and organizing the payment process for all appearancesManage internal and external mascot/cheer appearance request forms, calendars and confirmationsAssist with planning and executing youth football, high school boys tackle and girls flag football eventsAssist with the communication and execution of the Atlanta Falcons Junior Cheer ProgramOversee and manage all department databases including CR volunteers, youth and high school football and the Legends communityIncrease engagement, visibility and opportunities for the Falcons Legends Community through creative communication tools and platformsAttend and assist with various internal and external events where Atlanta Falcons talent is requestedAssist with the preparation and execution of Community Relations game day operationsLead the management of @FalconsCR, @ATLCheerleaders and @Freddie.Falcon Instagram and X accounts, keeping accounts constantly updated through engagement and contentAssist with processing, fulfilling and shipping donations using DonationXchangeManage Community Relations inventory including appearance attire, equipment, donations, giveaways and promotional itemsAssist with scribing, compiling and reporting out various department meeting notesAssist with events and special group visits during Atlanta Falcons Training CampRespond to and fulfill all Community Relations mail inquiriesMaintain cleanliness and organization of department areas within the team’s facilitiesUpdate and maintain various Community Relations staff meeting materials on a weekly basisOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree requiredExperience in planning and executing event operations and social media preferredAt least one year experience working in the sports industry preferredSkills and Basic Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnelExcellent time-management and organizational skillsExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva
