Type: Part Time or Full time

Salary: $18- $20 per hour/ $18 - $25 an hour
Schedule : Mon-Sun: Part-time, Full-time, day time, evenings and/or overnight shifts.

The Home Care Aide will provide assistance to a variety of patients IN-HOME care setting. This could include assistance with Personal Care, Showering/Bathing, Companion Care, etc. The age of these clients varies from toddler age to elderly clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Be responsible for basic care services such as bathing, grooming and feeding, light house keeping, and grocery shopping.Ability to coordinate schedules with multiple clientsGiving patients important social and emotional support.Medication reminders.Drive to different locations in San Diego.Maintains confidentiality of all client information, in accordance with HIPAA standardsSafeguards the client/patient by observing appropriate infection control procedures including but not limited to universal precautionsNotifies the office of any abnormal findings or conditionsAdheres to Caregiver standards and procedures of the CompanyRepresents the Company with a positive image at all timesDemonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of all facilitiesEffectively communicates with the office staff, including availability to workAdheres to time and attendance policiesProvides requirements-related information (Annual PPD, In-services, etc.) in a timely fashion; follows all other compliance standards at all times

Requirements:

At least one year working as a caregiverCurrent First Aid and CPR certificationTB TestHome Care Aide (HCA)Reliable transportationExperience with Elderly/Children with Disabilities
