Company Nurse

Global Business Solutions (GBS) is a service line under the COO's office. GBS is tasked with driving the firm's captive center and providing operational support services to all business units across the globe, improving enterprise competitiveness and cost optimization while optimizing internal service delivery to various functions and Business Units.

We are seeking a dedicated Company Nurse cum Operations Assistant to join our team in the Manila office. This role supports the Operations Manager in overseeing the overall operations and administration, fostering a culture of transparency, integrity, teamwork, and high performance.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate solid experience of:

Provide first aid and medical occupational safety for emergency-related injuries in the workplace; Administer over-the-counter medication to employees, clinical guidance, health counseling, and monitoring to employees; Ensure timeliness of submission of reports on Health, Safety, and Social Welfare and Benefits, and other related reports such as medical conditions and status to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE); Maintain and update employee database related to medical and government-mandated and company privileges benefits in computer systems with high confidentiality; Develop, organize, and implement comprehensive Health, Safety, and Social Welfare and Benefits services, programs, and events; Research and develop medical standards, innovative methods, techniques, and approaches in dealing with occupational safety and health problems; Attend seminars, webinars, and training related to industrial medicine and occupational safety and health, hosted and accredited by DOLE and other government agencies; Ensure strict compliance and administration of Health, Safety, and Social Welfare and Benefits as prescribed in Book IV of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Coordinates with HMO provider on enrollment, Letter of Endoresment/Accreditation (LOE/LOA) and other operational concerns relevant to HMO provider; Maintains the first-aid kits available Document all employee injuries and illnesses; prepare reports to OSH and DOLE as required. Develop and implement health and wellness programs for the benefit of the employees. Prepares OSH and other DOLE-related reports Review pre-employment medical exam (PEME) for new hires, assists with the preboarding  rocess as needed Own, schedule, implement, and deliver annual physical exam (APE) to employees Transport ill employees to accredited hospitals Facilitates Random Drug Test Annually Secures Fit to Work of Employees with Medical Conditions

OPERATIONS ASSISTANT:

SSS

Update and maintain membership records of the newly hired, current, and resigned employees, and other related updates to the SSS website; Assist the employees in updating their membership records including filing and claiming benefits such as Salary and Calamity Loan, SSS, and EC Sickness Notification; Validate and submit the accomplished form for SSS Sickness, Maternity Claim, and EC Benefits claim to SSS and EC office; Update employee records and submit a report on amendments, enrollment, exclusion, and benefit claims to Payroll In-Charge;

PHILHEALTH

Assist former employees in the documentation for Disability, Retirement, Funeral, Death, and Separation Claims Update and maintain membership records of the newly hired, current, and resigned employees, and other related updates to the PhilHealth office; Assist the employees in updating their membership records including filing and claiming benefits; Validate and submit the accomplished form for the PhilHealth benefit using PhilHealth Claim Form-1 (CF-1)

PAG-IBIG

Update employee records and submit a report on amendments, enrollment, exclusion, and benefit claims to Payroll In-Charge Update and maintain membership records of the newly hired, current, and resigned employees, and other related updates to the PagIbig office; Assist the employees in updating their membership records including filing and claiming of benefits such as Modified Pag-IBIG 2, Multi-Purpose, Calamity, and Pag-IBIG Housing Loans to PagIBIG office; Validate and submit the accomplished form for the PagIBIG benefit claim; Update employee records and submit a report on amendments, enrollment, exclusion and benefit claims to Payroll In-Charge Assist former employees in the documentation for Retirement and Separation Claims Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) and Group Life Insurance (GLI) Update employee records and submit a report on amendments, enrollment, exclusion and benefit claims to the Officer-In-Charge Other government-mandated benefits Performs any other duties and responsibilities that are assigned by the People Business Partner from time to time Prepares OSH and other DOLE-related reports

Requirements:

With a bachelor's degree in Nursing, passed the Nursing board exam, and with active and updated PRC Nursing License; Has updated OHNAP and BOSH Certifications, and other recognized and related certifications in industrial medicine and occupational safety and health; Warm and caring disposition Critical thinking skills, good organizational skills Detail-oriented Self-starter, fast learner and can work with minimal supervision Experience as healthcare or industrial nurse is a plus point; Experience in Human Resources administration is a plus point; Knowledge in basic computer technology and operations (MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/MSTeams) and social media platforms and tools; Communicates effectively in verbal and writing and possesses strong interpersonal skills; Organized, able to monitor work for quality, and have excellent time management skills. Can manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks efficiently; Resourceful, dependable, and able to follow instructions Willing to work on site 5 days a week
