Compensation, Benefits and HRIS Manager

The Compensation, Benefits and HRIS Manager will work closely with the Emerson Total Rewards COE, Business Unit leadership team, and HR Business Partners to deliver on Emerson’s Total Rewards strategy for Measurement solutions, a business unit of Emerson. Based in Shakopee, MN, this role reports to the Director of Total Rewards and Employee Engagement for Measurement Solutions and will lead a team of five. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Compensation Management

Support the BU administration of compensation programs, including job evaluation, job architecture, salary benchmarking, budgeting, salary adjustments, incentive plans, and performance-based rewards. Develop and deliver communications that enable employees, leaders, and candidates to understand and recognize the full value of the organization’s total rewards package. Provide guidance and support to employees on compensation and benefits matters  Coordinate the annual salary review and merit increase programs, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness. Work with business leaders and HR Business Partners on special programs pertaining to pay equity and market adjustments Support Emerson global health and welfare programs, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, and COBRA Support the administration of the Emerson retirement plans, supporting communications and maintaining ERISA compliance.  Coordinate the Measurement Solutions BU leave of absence function, providing process guidance, and driving continuous improvement

Payroll & HRIS

Collaborate with Emerson HRIS teams on optimizing systems, developing tools, progress projects, and reporting Troubleshoot, investigate, resolve or elevate system issues, relating to payroll errors, employee records or other transactions. Be responsible for BU payroll administration working with the Emerson payroll operations team to ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, bonuses, and other compensation actions.

   For This Role, You Will Need: 8+ years of experience in Human Resources, with exposure to compensation, benefits and HRIS management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Technical knowledge of Total Rewards principles, tools and techniques; understanding of people management and broad knowledge of human resource functions and systems. Experience in organizational change and HR transformation related to compensation and benefits, with the ability to guide teams through evolving compensation structures and benefits programs. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the salary range for this role is $115-150k yr. annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
