**Job Description** **CASI, Cruise Administration Services Inc** , a Carnival Cruise Line entity in the Philippines currently has a Compensation, Benefits and Payroll & Manager role available. **Only candidates located in the Philippines to apply** . **Job Summary:** As the Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of compensation, benefits, and rewards policies, procedures, and programs. Your key focus will be ensuring market competitiveness, compliance with government-mandated compensation and benefits standards, and maintaining internal equity, all while adhering to the company's quality and safety standards. You will manage Timekeeping Card Coordinator (TCC) and HR Assistant TCC Support, providing leadership and support to ensure accurate timekeeping records and effective handling of payroll-related tasks. Your team will ensure proper tracking of employee work hours and attendance data, which is vital for payroll processing. Additionally, you will be accountable for ensuring that payroll practices at CASI and Open Sea are fully compliant with company policies and labor law requirements. This includes close collaboration with the corporate payroll team, third-party service providers, and government agencies to manage payroll changes, ensure the accuracy of payroll calculations, and ensure timely payroll releases. Your role will be essential in maintaining smooth, accurate, and compliant payroll operations across the organization. **Essential Functions:** + In-charge of salary administration and ensure that all wage adjustments are in accordance with the policies set forth by the company and as per mandated by the government + Responsible in providing support in Performing salary reviews (at CASI level) based on market and sector-specific benchmarking to ensure competitiveness. This includes conducting market and trend analysis through salary survey input and market research on an annual and ad hoc basis. + Responsible in maintaining salary range system, including periodic evaluation of levels and Job at CASI. + Provide support in Managing labour costs, inherent controls like maximums and minimums, Compa-ratios and variable pay. + Prepare communications to employees about benefit programs, procedures, changes, and government-mandated disclosures. + Act as subject matter expert on company leaves (including statutory) and benefits administration and handle disputes, requests for information and other leave-related matters. + Assist in implementing and administering benefit programs, including medical, dental, disability, life insurance, workers’ compensation, employee assistance, retirement, and other plans. + Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the electronic records for all CASI staff and managing all HR aspects of their information that will affect monetary benefits in payroll; ensuring such information is held in the strictest of confidence. + Provide analytical and technical support for the delivery of the company’s benefit programs and recommends/advises on benefit enhancements and changes. + Provides assistance in the design and recommends benefits and rewards program to boost employees’ morale and motivate employees to drive performance. + Implement and monitor benefits and rewards program of the company. This includes soliciting feedback to ensure continuous improvement. + Ensure adherence to local regulations including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and DOLE requirements both for CASI and Open Sea. + Responsible in executing regulatory changes in labor laws to update policies and practices accordingly related to payroll compensation and benefits compliance both for CASI and Open Sea. + Act as alternating representative to Government agencies in reporting monthly enrollment/deletion of employees for SSS/Philhealth and Pag-ibig , DOLE and BIR (in collaboration with Accounting team). The role also has great participation during spot audit of BIR and Dept of Labor and Employment (DOLE). + Accountable in generating Government Monthly Remittance reports (contributions and loans) both for CASI and Open Sea and for accounting to process the payment. + Monitor and verify government loans to ensure accuracy and timely deductions in the payroll making sure it in compliance to the approved loan conditions issued by government agency to prevent any late payments, interests and penalty. + Oversee the computation of 13th Month Pay, Maternity and Sickness Benefit, Final Pay including the retrenchment and redundancy pay. + Verify the correctness of the administration of mandatory employee benefits computation (Magna Carta, Paternity Leave, Maternity leave etc.) including company-initiated benefits (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.) + Provide information and guidance to employees regarding compensation and benefits policies including tax related inquiries and concerns. + Address and resolve employees’ inquiries and concerns related to compensation, benefits and payroll adjustment. + Will lead the Timekeeping Card Coordinator and HR Assistant TCC support to ensure accurate timekeeping, compliance with payroll policies, and timely processing of payroll for the organization. This role is critical to maintaining market competitiveness, adhering to government regulations, and ensuring internal equity within the company. You will achieve this by supervising the team, providing training, overseeing daily operations, and collaborating with other departments to resolve payroll issues. Your leadership will directly impact the efficiency of payroll operations, ensuring employee satisfaction and regulatory compliance across CASI and Open Sea, while fostering a high-performance team environment. + Prepares Compensation & Benefits report on a regular basis to monitor all G&A cost related to HR. + Support HR Director in budget preparations to ensure all Compensation and benefits related budget are captured for the planning. + Provides assistance to the HR Department with regards to implementation of HR programs and policies + Provides assistance in reviewing and improving HR business processes to fully serve the requirements of the accounts being served **Qualifications:** + Minimum educational attainment of Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business, or related field + Preferably with HR Certification or Compensation and Benefits Certification + 5+ years of experience in an HR role related to the delivery of compensation and benefits, and payroll processing. + Practical experience with payroll systems, practices and procedures + Expert knowledge of compensation and benefits practices + Knowledgeable in handling local payroll practices + Knowledgeable of applicable labor statutory regulatory laws and regulations + Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills + Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills + Strong HRMS technical skills as demonstrated by the ability to generate and analyze various reports using Excel and other reporting tools. + A high degree of computer literacy; working knowledge of an ERP system such as Oracle is desirable. **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities** + Ability to plan and coordinate multiple activities. + Must be flexible and able to handle difficult situations and can maintain confidential records /information. + Strong problem-solving skills + Excellent strategic thinking ability + Total attention to detail + With leadership experience **Ethics & Compliance** + In addition to other duties/functions, this position requires full commitment and support for promoting ethical and compliant culture.
