The Compensation Analyst will report to the RVP HR ASPAC with a functional reporting to the Dir of Human Resources, Total Rewards HR Analytics ASPAC. The Compensation Analyst will play a key role in supporting the development, implementation and management of Hyatt’s regional and sub-regional compensation programs, total rewards inititiaves and applicable policies. This position will involve in preparing senior hotel compensation and hub packages, analyzing market trends, internal salary structures, and employee compensation data to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices for the Asia Pacific region. In addition, the Compensation Analyst will be assigned to participate in special projects such as HR Evolution and assist the RVP HR ASPAC for some of the project work as required.
Total Rewards Package Proposals Cost Analytics
· Develop and present compensation packages for GMs and ASPAC office associates, doing cost analytics taking into account individual performance, market data, and company policies. Ensure that all proposals are competitive, fair, and in compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
· Compensation Analysis and Benchmarking
· Conduct market research and salary surveys to assess competitive compensation rates.
· Benchmark company compensation practices against industry standards and competitor data.
· Analyze compensation data to ensure alignment with market trends and company goals.
· Salary Structure Development
· Assist in the design and implementation of salary structures, pay grades, and job leveling frameworks.
· Review and update salary ranges and compensation policies based on analysis and market data
Compensation Administration
· Process and analyze compensation data for merit increases, promotions, and adjustments.
· Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and legal requirements.
HRIS Configuration and Data Migration
· Assist in conducting audits and cleanse of HR data in current HRIS to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
· Migrate HR data from the PeopleSoft system into the new Oracle system. This includes mapping data fields, developing migration scripts, testing data integrity, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition.
· Work closely with the new leveling and setup requirements to ensure that all migrated data is properly classified and structured.
Reporting and Data Management
· Develop and maintain compensation reports, dashboards, and metrics to track and analyze compensation trends.
· Prepare detailed compensation analysis reports for senior management and other stakeholders.
Job Evaluation and Analysis
· Conduct job evaluations to determine the relative worth of positions within the organization.
· Develop and maintain job descriptions, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurately reflect job responsibilities.
Communication and Advisory
· Provide guidance and support to HR and management on compensation-related matters.
· Communicate compensation policies and programs effectively to employees, addressing any questions or concerns.
Compliance and Legal
· Monitor changes in labor laws and regulations to ensure compensation practices remain compliant.
· Prepare for and support audits related to compensation and benefits.
Continuous Improvement
· Stay current on best practices and emerging trends in compensation management.
· Recommend and implement improvements to compensation processes and systems.

• A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)) or CPA (Chartered Public Accountant) is a plus.
