As a Compensation Analyst at Joby, you will play a vital role in attracting and retaining top talent by ensuring that our compensation offers are competitive, fair, and aligned with our organization's compensation philosophy. You will work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and the People Team to conduct comprehensive compensation reviews for job offers and ensure that our compensation packages are attractive to candidates. This position is based out of one of Joby’s California offices: San Carlos, Santa Cruz and Marina. Onsite presence 3 days per week is required.
Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive compensation reviews for every job offer, taking into account market data, internal equity, and individual candidate qualificationsCollaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand the specific needs of each role and provide guidance on appropriate compensation packagesUpdate and maintain our compensation offers database to ensure accurate and up-to-date informationDraft and send accurate offer letters, outlining compensation details and benefitsOccasionally address candidate questions and concerns related to compensation and benefitsSupport recruiters by providing pay band requests for new job postingsAssist with various compensation team projects as needed Required 5+ years of experience in compensationBachelors’ degree in Human Resources, Business, or related fieldIntermediate to advanced Excel skills, experience with Google SheetsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze compensation dataProficiency in using compensation analysis tools and softwareExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalDetail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsKnowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations
Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $95,200 - $126,900/yr. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
