Job Summary: The Compensation Analyst is responsible for providing data-driven insights and analytical support to the Human Resources department and broader organization. Reporting to the Sr Manager, HR Corporate Functions, this individual will play a crucial role in leveraging data to inform HR strategies, improve processes, and support decision-making across various HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive compensation analysis, including: Performing regular market salary surveys and benchmarking studies Analyzing internal pay equity and recommending adjustments Developing and maintaining pay structures and job leveling frameworks Modeling the financial impact of proposed compensation changes Supporting the annual merit increase and bonus processes with data-driven recommendations Analyzing the effectiveness of various compensation programs (e.g., bonuses, equity, benefits) Providing insights on compensation trends and best practices Collaborate with HR business partners and other departments on compensation and HRIS processes. Manage and maintain the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security. Conduct regular attrition analysis to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement in employee retention. Develop and maintain HR reports, including but not limited to headcount, turnover, recruitment metrics, and employee demographics. Prepare and present data-driven insights for Board of Directors meetings, executive leadership, and other stakeholders, with a focus on compensation trends and other key HR metrics. Conduct ad hoc HR analysis as requested, providing insights on various HR initiatives and programs. Stay current with HR analytics best practices, tools, and technologies, particularly those related to compensation management. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies in all analytical activities. Provide training and support to HR team members on using HRIS and interpreting HR data, especially in areas of compensation. Participate in HR projects, representing the analytical and reporting requirements for compensation and other HR functions. Other duties as required.
