Compensation Analyst
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Compensation Analyst in Hunterdon county. Our industry requires an individual with a meticulous approach to analyzing and designing compensation packages for employees. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our HR team, ensuring that our compensation practices are competitive, fair, and aligned with industry standards. Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive market research to gauge competitiveness of the company's compensation strategy. • Analyze compensation data to identify trends and recommend adjustments to salary ranges and total compensation packages. • Develop and maintain job classifications and descriptions to promote consistency and fairness in compensation practices. • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to align compensation recommendations with business objectives and goals. • Prepare and present reports on compensation trends and data to senior management and other stakeholders. • Develop and implement policies and procedures relating to compensation practices. • Ensure all compensation practices comply with applicable laws and regulations. • Utilize strong analytical skills to work with large data sets. • Utilize Compensation & Benefits and Compensation Analysis skills to ensure fair and competitive compensation practices. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Compensation Analyst or in a similar role. • Proficiency in Compensation & Benefits strategies and planning. • Strong knowledge and understanding of Compensation Analysis. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Exceptional communication and presentation skills. • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. • Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems. • Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding salaries and benefits. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Superior interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization. • Proven track record of maintaining professional and ethical work conduct. • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work under pressure. • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and objectives. • Exceptional skills in data analysis and reporting. • Certification in Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar is a plus.
