We are hiring a Compensation Analyst for our Global Compensation Team.
You’ll be responsible for all the traditional analysis of a compensation professional in addition to partnering with the broader HR team to educate and administer Lucid’s compensation programs. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with strategic decisions, and execution of critical deliverables, has strong attention to detail, and is driven by a desire to meet business needs through a consultative approach for a fast-growing organization.
This position will report to our Head of Compensation while partnering directly with the organization to deliver world-class results.
The role is based in Lucid’s Michigan office (Southfield, MI).
You Will:
Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure the company's compensation are competitive and aligned with industry trends and best practices.
Utilize Radford, Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, and Comp for job benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable compensation structures.
Conduct detailed compensation analysis using Excel, including data modeling and financial projections.
Audit compensation data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Solve complex compensation-related problems and provide data-driven recommendations to support business objectives.
Create compelling PowerPoint presentations to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Analyze compensation data to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness, identifying trends and making strategic recommendations.
Perform cost-benefit analysis and financial projections to support compensation decisions and budget planning.
Collaborate with HR partners, recruiters, internal departments, and hiring managers to address compensation-related inquiries and provide guidance.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in compensation to ensure our programs remain competitive and compliant.
Compile, analyze, review and audit compensation data and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations and company policies.
Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to prepare budgets, forecasts, and reports related to compensation expenses, headcount, and turnover.
You Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field
2+ years of broad-based compensation experience
Ability to create and interpret financial models and perform data analysis using Excel.
Advanced Excel skills with a proficiency in VLOOKUP/ XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques (charts, graphs, conditional formatting) for analyzing and presenting compensation data
