Job DescriptionThe Compensation Analyst I performs professional level administrative and analytical duties to support
the Company's compensation programs used to attract and retain a productive workforce at a competitive
cost to the company. Administers and analyzes compensation programs, systems, and data to ensure
legal compliance, equitable and competitive pay, grade structure and job classifications, maintenance of
records, and compliant plans.
Responsibilities and Tasks in order of priority to be successful:
• Administer a variety of compensation programs in alignment with the Company's compensation
philosophy.
• Create and maintain Company job descriptions in central database, partnering within the HR team
as necessary. Request updates and publish approved job descriptions
• Investigate and recommend resolution on routine FLSA classification and exemption questions
• Perform basic job evaluations and routine market analyses, resulting in proper grading and
leveling of Company jobs.
• Provides routine and ad hoc reporting for HR peers and various levels of management
• Participate in a variety of compensation surveys to collect and analyze information on the
Company’s competitive position and ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved.
• Assist with audits to ensure the company compensation programs are consistently administered
in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
• Assist with the annual employee merit process including system preparation, communications,
and post-review analyses.
• Participate in the periodic review and update of compensation systems including salary structures,
system enhancements and merit guidelines.
• Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to affect continual improvements in
efficiency of the organization and enhancement of services provided.

Education, Experience & License or Certification
• Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of related experience is preferred, or 4 years of related work
experience in lieu of degree.
• Intermediate level of experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
Skills and Abilities
• Possess a high level of professionalism; interact with staff at all levels within the organization and
ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail is imperative
