Compensation Analyst III

As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analysis to determine competitive compensation rates and trends for all organizational positions. Communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
• Analyze data thoroughly and offer recommendations aligned with the company's philosophy and departmental objectives.
• Act as a key liaison with management on all compensation-related matters.
• Administer competitive and equitable compensation programs to attract and retain high-performing employees.
• Audit data with strong attention to detail and resolve discrepancies.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of survey and statistical techniques for compensation analysis, job classification, and salary structure adjustments.
• Identify and implement best practices to continuously improve the compensation program and its strategic direction.
• Participate in compensation-related projects, including design, implementation, and communication.
• Evaluate job positions for FLSA classification and provide salary recommendations.
• Approve promotions, job changes, and salary adjustments using sound compensation fundamentals.
• Maintain and report on accruals and results for Annual Incentive Plans, Long-Term Incentives, Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation, and other compensation activities.
• Analyze data for Total Rewards, Bonus, and Merit statements, and recommend adjustments to compensation communication.
• Utilize strong communication skills to influence and educate leaders on compensation decisions.
• Educate employees and leaders on compensation activities, practices, and philosophy (Comp 101).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications The Employee Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in compensation analysis and program development
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and develop recommendations based on findings.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including experience with pivot tables, v-lookups, and other advanced functions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to adapt and work with a variety of situations, individuals, or groups

Qualifications We Prefer

• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Certification
• Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry, including knowledge of rate structures and Government Contracting
• Exposure to Service Contract Act (SCA) or Davis Bacon Act (DBA)
