Compensation Analyst - Total Rewards - Full Time
Position Summary: Supports the Director Compensation & Benefits in the administration and maintenance of system compensation. Updates and maintains compensation and job evaluation plans. Assists with development, preparation, and distribution of information regarding the compensation plans. Acts as resource to communicate the plans to management and staff. Responsible for processing personnel actions for Payroll purposes. Education, License & Cert: An associate degree in human resources/related field or equivalent years of experience. Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in human resources, preferably in healthcare. Essential Functions: • Responds to email inquiries from employees and managers related to compensation practices promptly. • Calculates pay rates to new hires and transferring employees based on job related experience and crediting structure for that role. • Administers certification/degree pay for appropriate roles within Oracle. • Calculate retro adjustments as necessary. • Processes all personnel actions in accordance with system policies and procedures in HR system. • Assists with the preparation and updating of job descriptions. • Demonstrates a willingness to serve as a resource person in the department and willingly educates employees on any issues relating to compensation policies or practices. • Maintains current knowledge of Wage and Hours regulations and other Human Resources related issues. • Works closely with the benefits and payroll teams on identifying system and/or process related opportunities to improve efficiency and quality. • Assists with the development and distribution of communications related to the organization’s compensation programs. • Develops and conducts educational training tools for managers and employees. • Assist with interpreting and communicating compensation policies and wage and hour laws to administrators, managers, and staff. • Administers Union pay changes in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). • Administers bonus programs including sign-on bonuses, referral bonuses, and other programs as they develop. Other Duties: Performs additional duties as assigned Participates in department staff meetings and in service programs.
