Role Overview
The SENIOR COMPENSATION & HRIS ANALYST is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our compensation programs in addition to support, and maintenance of our employee information in our Human Resource Information System (HRIS). This role must also ensure data integrity, generating reports, and providing technical support to others. Additionally, this role requires creative and strategic thinking to enhance the company’s HR processes and reporting to aid in better decision-making regarding talent.
Responsibilities Design and manage comprehensive compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and market benchmarking.Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes for total rewards programs.Consult and educate/train management on compensation practices, policies, and procedures to ensure understanding and compliance.Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement in total rewards and HR processes.Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements through regular audits and updatesMaintain and update the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and system functionality.Input, update, audit the employee data within the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.Generate and analyze/HR metrics and reports to support HR initiatives and strategic business decisions.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance HRIS efficiency and effectiveness.Ensure HRIS and Compensation practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.Work closely with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the HRIS and forthcoming changes.Performs other duties as needed.Mentor and guide other analysts and HR staff. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.5+ years of experience in compensation or HRIS managementProficient in HRIS software (Paylocity or other HCM systems), advanced Excel skills.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to lead projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.In-depth knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulation
