Arrow Electronics is looking for an experienced Compensation & Benefits Analyst to work in our Guadalajara office, ensuring our employees across North America receive and enjoy a comprehensive compensation package according to the region they're hired into.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Compensation Administration: Support the management and administration of compensation programs in the Americas region. Oversee escalated employee compensation issues via Arrow’s HR support tool. Assist in administrating the annual merit process, Arrow’s Global Career Framework, and other compensation projects.Benefits Administration: Serve as primary backup for LATAM benefits administration when necessary. Manage all aspects of assigned US and Canada leave of absence cases, including partnering with internal and outsourced partners for all leaves (e.g., FMLA, State, Medical, Personal, Military) to ensure consistency and compliance with all policies, laws, and regulations.Compensation Consultation: Provide guidance and support to HR partners, recruiters, and internal departments on compensation-related matters.Market Analysis: Partner with Compensation Manager to evaluate external market compensation data to ensure the competitiveness of Arrow’s salary structures, incentive programs, and other pay practices. Review external survey job matches and recommend updates as necessary. Prepare special studies and recommendations on all compensation-related programs and plans.Survey Management: Participate in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine the company's competitive position. Participate in domestic and international third-party compensation surveys.Invoice Processing: Process benefits and compensation invoices for payment. Data Accuracy: Utilize HRIS tools effectively to support accurate data management and streamlined auditing processes, including employee compensation data and vendor systems. Monitor and ensure compliance with compensation-related laws and regulations.Additional Responsibilities: Provide backup support to the Americas benefits team, including handling escalated employee benefits issues via Arrow’s HR support tool. Serve as primary backup for Latam senior benefits analyst. Perform other job-related projects and duties as assigned.What We Are Looking For:
At least a 4-year degree and 5 years related compensation experience. Relationship Management: Proven client relationship skills with leaders and employees and the ability to collaborate well.Time Management: Ability to manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously with competing deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Strong organizational skills.Communication Skills: Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish with the ability to adjust the communication style to match the situation, the environment, and the intended audience.Consulting Skills: Prior experience consulting with HR colleagues and managers regarding compensation programs.Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Prior use of HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and compensation-related web applications helpful.Ability to keep highly sensitive human resources and compensation information confidential.Skills That Will Help You Succeed Even More:
