About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Compensation Consultant on the Total Rewards team to partner with the Executive Compensation Center of Excellence team to design competitive, equitable compensation programs that are intended to motivate employees, attract, and retain talent, manage risk, and reward employees for their contributions to Wells Fargo's success.
In this role, you will:
Provide consulting, coaching, and solutions in support of compensation strategies, programs, and solutions across a business or enterprise function, ensuring alignment with key organizational goals.Review and analyze moderately complex operational assignments that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables.Present recommendations for resolving moderately complex situations and exercise independent judgement while leveraging and developing expertise within the compensation area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.Receive direction from supervisor and exercise judgement within defined parameters while developing understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.Provide support for a variety of diverse support functions and/or operations/production oversight for the Human Resources Total Rewards team. Support the operations and reporting needs of the Compensation Center of Excellence.Work with Human Resources databases and technology platforms relevant to the assigned work.Pull, review, analyze, verify, and track intricate employee data using advanced functions in Excel.Administer programs, projects, or processes specific to the business and are administrative in nature.Facilitate efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and escalate concerns related to the assigned operation.Adhere to and support the Compensation COE’s procedures, processes, and controls.Communicate with U.S.-based Compensation COE colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, and customers on operational initiatives.Required Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant Compensation or Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationExperience in Compensation or Analytics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: India/US/Global Rewards (compensation and benefits) execution and administrative support, payments operations, payroll, automation, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.Experience in managing and administrating Equity Buyout awards for new hire offers and retention awards (Cash, Long Term Cash, or Restricted Stocks) as applicable.Responsible for the efficient administration of the equity compensation programs including all equity compensation, non-qualified deferred compensation/executive benefit programs and the employee stock purchase plansExcellent understanding and experience of global/US compensation practices and follows guidance/procedures to support compensation operations spanning across Executive Compensation and Compensation Delivery functions.Ability to support compensation administration, reporting, and servicing needs.Possesses experience in, acumen for, and success with data analysis; and provides necessary professional and/or technical level support and guidance.Ability to instill necessary risk and control measures in delivery, procedures and reporting activities, including development and maintenance of project, scope documents, etc.Ability to perform compensation and benefits program analysis, maintenance and administration, and the related processing, procedural, control, and reporting requirements of assigned tasks.Consults with colleagues in the Compensation Center of Excellence, Talent Acquisition, Payroll/HR Operations, and other stakeholders to establish, monitor and review performance and delivery.Result-oriented mindset with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) skills, specifically ExcelExcellent analytical skills and ability to navigate through ambiguity and infer complex data models/representations. Excellent accuracy, high quality, eye for detail, and a risk and control mindset.Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.Desired Qualifications:
Assist with stock plan administration by providing support related to the grant and vest process for equity awards, award agreements, communicationsSupport the operations and reporting needs of the Executive Compensation and Compensation Delivery Centers of Excellence.Provide Support Annual attestation process for retired employees who continue to receive previously issued awards of Restricted Stock RightsProvide Support for HR M&A support processes for Corporate Transactions during the transition and post-close deal phasesSupport processes like (but not limited to) Employee stock purchase plan support and Executive Compensation mailbox.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.Knowledge and/or experience with Workday, ServiceNow, or other customer service systems.Lead team through audits and validation review to maintain data, process and procedure sanctity and accuracy.Solid critical thinking skills.Demonstrated success in collaboration and teamwork.Ability to prepare correspondence; memorandum; reports; presentations or other assigned documentation.Job Expectations:
