Compensation Consultant

Partners with HR and operational leaders to ensure pay programs are competitive, aligned with strategic plans and budgetary parameters, maintaining system alignment across pay programs to support recruitment, retention, and internal equity. **Job Responsibilities and Requirements:** PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES + Consults with managers, directors and executives to develop and organize job structures/pay practices that support the needs of the organization and system. + Performs job market analysis. May participate in salary surveys and evaluate data in order to determine compensation rates and pay grade assignments. Researches and monitors new/changing compensation practices. + Analyzes the budget impact of compensation decisions. Develops compensation analytics and metrics reports for Compensation COE and HR team members. + Develops and delivers compensation program and policy communications. Advises HR partners, recruiters, operational leaders on pay decisions, policies, trends, and market-based reviews. + Ensures compliance with Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and other federal and state regulations. + Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION + Bachelor's degree EXPERIENCE + Seven years experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS + Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. + Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. + Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors. + Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc. + Frequent keyboard use/data entry. + Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping. + Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs. + Rare climbing.
