Mercer is hiring a Compensation Consulting Analyst to join our Stockholm office. In this role, you will support leading multinational clients in Sweden by delivering expert advice on total rewards strategies. As part of our team, you will contribute to projects across compensation and benefits, helping clients design programs that attract, retain, and engage talent.
The Swedish Rewards Team at Mercer helps organizations design and implement reward strategies that align with business goals and talent needs. We advise on e.g. executive compensation, career and remuneration frameworks, incentive design, and pay-for-performance models. Using Mercer’s proprietary data, global benchmarks, and analytical tools, we help clients navigate complex market trends, regulatory requirements, and evolving employee expectations. Our work often connects with broader talent strategies such as job architecture, pay transparency, and workforce transformation.

We will count on you to:
Analyze compensation and financial data, and benchmark it against market trends using tools such as Excel and Mercer’s proprietary databases and tools. Manage and validate client submissions to Mercer’s compensation surveys, ensuring accuracy and high-quality data input. Ensure accuracy of market data and contribute to high-quality client deliverables through collaboration with internal teams. Create clear, data-driven exhibits to support client insights and recommendations. Conduct research on reward practices, pay transparency, and talent trends using public and proprietary sources. Prepare presentations and reports with high-quality output that communicate findings and recommendations clearly and professionally to clients. Support the design of job architecture, pay structures, and incentive programs that align with client strategy and compliance needs. Contribute to client relationship-building through event support, day-to-day communication, and coordination. Support proposal development and business development activitiesWhat you need to have:
An undergraduate degree with less than 3 years of professional experience. Strong organisational skills with the ability to independently initiate and complete tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Swedish, adaptable to different audiences and levels of seniority. An analytical mindset and confidence in making data-driven decisions based on logical reasoning. Strong time management skills to effectively manage responsibilities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. A commercial mindset and interest in client work.What makes you stand out:
Experience using Excel and PowerPoint to analyze data, build compensation exhibits, and develop clear, client-ready presentations using functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and structured slide design. Flexibility and willingness to take on projects with little notice and participate in meetings outside of standard business hours.
