Compensation Manager

JOB OVERVIEW:

Collaborates with the Compensation and HRIS teams in the execution of single or multiple projects, with strong emphasis on the compensation function, e.g., projects related to salary administration, the year-end process, bonus administration, job evaluations, salary grades and other variable compensation plans.  Monitors ongoing progress and works with the team to ensure timely and effective completion of the projects. Works closely with all HR partners & Sr. Business Leaders

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Manages activities related to job evaluation, both on-going and expansion into global sector. Works with team to plan and organize project objectives, timeline and strategic activities to ensure timely and effective project completion.Conducts market pricing and analyses in support of salary decision-making.  Provides guidance on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation and job evaluation including the design of creative solutions to specific compensation-related issues. Experience with MarketPay or PayFactors a plusManages projects including salary review and administration, bonus administration, long-term equity administration and evaluation of variable (sales) pay plans.Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned or required.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: 

Minimum of seven years’ experience in Compensation, including specific experience in incentive plan administration, survey preparation & analysis, job evaluation, salary structure and incentive plan development, or the equivalent required.  Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Strong analytical and communication skills, including high degree of competence in spreadsheet and database software, especially in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint).

WORK EXPERIENCE: 

Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; 1 or more years of management experience.

                                                                                                                         

PREFERRED EDUCATION: 


Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

The posted range for this position is $95,040 to $166,320 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. 

This position is eligible for a [bonus/incentive] not reflected in the posted range.
