Location: Clayton, MO

Salary: $83,000 - $125,000
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 1 day remote per week
Relocation Available

Focus: The Compensation Specialist is a member of the Total Rewards team, responsible for the administration of broad-based compensation programs. This role will assist in the execution of the annual pay planning cycle and development of base salary ranges and incentive targets for Olin’s various businesses.  This position is also responsible for helping maintain competitive structures and conducting on-going analysis to ensure overall competitiveness and consistent approach to pay decisions for all levels across the organization as well as providing support for and executing data driven compensation analyses.


Compensation Specialist Essential Job Functions:Support the configuration and administration of global broad-based compensation processes while managing and maintaining highly sensitive and confidential information.  Maintain and improve compensation related process documentation.Partner with global HR Business Partners in the application of compensation policies.Conduct data analysis to ensure parity and equity in pay practices utilizing both internal and external market data.Monitor competitive trends in compensation including identifying Olin’s position relative to market and making recommendations for changes to compensation, rewards, and recognition programs.Conduct job evaluations using the Korn Ferry Hay Methodology.Participate in salary surveys through the collection and reporting of data to third-party survey providers.Conduct detailed ad-hoc data driven analyses that provide for ease of understanding and review.Compensation Specialist Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree* in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of compensation related experienceStrong detail orientation, organization, verbal/written communication, project, and time management skillsProficiency in all Microsoft Office Products with advanced Excel proficiencyKnowledge and experience with global compensation trends/issues preferredFamiliarity with Korn Ferry Hay Job Evaluation Methodology preferredExperience working within a global organization and/or manufacturing/industrial experience preferred
