Human Resources Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Competency Mapping Intern to support our HR team in developing and enhancing our competency frameworks. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in talent management and organizational development.

Schedule: Part-Time position (32 hours or less a week). Work schedule is flexible but must be available during business hours (9am-6pm). This internship is project-based and will conclude on or before April 30, 2025, depending on completion of assigned project tasks. This a hybrid position.

Pay Range: $18-$25 per hour. Rate of pay will commensurate with experience, skills and qualifications. Candidates with a higher level of relevant experience may be offer a higher rate within the pay range for this position.

Responsibilities

Assist in the identification and analysis of key competencies for various roles within the organization. Collaborate with team members to conduct research on industry standards and best practices in competency mapping. Help design and implement competency assessment tools and methodologies. Support the development of training materials and documentation related to competency frameworks. Participate in stakeholder interviews and focus groups to gather insights and feedback. Analyze data and provide recommendations for improving competency models. Contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives within the HR department.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. At least one year of relevant experience is required for candidates who are not pursuing a degree or have not recently graduated. Strong analytical and research skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
