Sweetwater, the nation’s #1 online retailer of music instruments and pro audio equipment is seeking to hire a Competitive Pricing Coordinator to join our growing Merchandising team. This role is responsible for maintaining competitive connections to ensure up-to-date pricing based on market insights. They will manage day-to-day product pricing decisions through exception and opportunity reporting, providing accurate and timely adjustments. Additionally, they will record and track competitive pricing issues in response to sales (Sales Engineer) inquiries, providing essential data for decision-making. This role involves conducting vendor-level competitive research to support pricing strategies and providing ongoing support for merchandising groups in matters related to competitive pricing, helping the team maintain a strong market position

 

Responsibilities:

Researching the competitive market via pricing software (Retool) to ensure competitive pricingUpdate and maintain pricing via the electronic product record in Sweetwater’s internal inventory system. (4D)Update, log, and report Sales Engineer Pricing Issue emailsProvide ad-hoc reporting to meet the needs of the Buying Teams such as vendor specific market research reportingEnsure pricing accuracy via pricing exclusion reports (Looker)Maintaining accurate connections to competitive landscape via API software (Netrivals)

 

Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years in an administrative role, preferably supporting pricing analysis or trend dataBachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experienceStrong attention to detail and accuracy in all workProficiency with modern data visualization and analysis tools such as Looker, DOMO, or similar platformsDemonstrated ability to prepare recurring reports and insights for senior leadership teams
