Posted Job Title Competitive Sport Program Lead Job Profile Title Temporary Employee - Non-Exempt Job Description Summary The Competitive Sports Program Lead is responsible for overseeing the Sport Clubs and Intramural Sports programs, including their staff, competitions, and events held in the Department of Recreation and Intercollegiate Athletics (DRIA) facilities. This role ensures smooth operation, effectively manages staff, and serves as the first point of contact for emergencies or issues. The Competitive Sports Program Lead plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and organized environment, fostering clear communication with the Competitive Sports Administration, and supporting the success of all Sport Club and Intramural activities. While this position primarily operates within the Competitive Sports office, it may also assist with other roles within the program or department as needed. Job Description Responsibilities 1. Oversee Intramural Sport and Sport Club competitions and events (practices and tournaments) which include: + Ensuring proper facility setup/cleanup + Player/spectator check-in + Oversee all Gameday operation assistants on their respective shifts + Provide quality customer service when interacting with visiting clubs and their members/spectators + Serve as a liaison between Sport Clubs and Competitive Sports Administration with any conflict or concern during oversight 2. Ensure that all policies and procedures for the University of Pennsylvania and the Campus Recreation Department are enforced. 3. Preform in office administrative task for the Sport Club and IM Program: + Print score sheets and moves equipment to ensure it is prepared for that night’s contests and practices + Lead minor projects + Enter score into IMLeagues from previous night's events + Supervise the SCC Board + Assist with staff training and scheduling 4. Ability to execute emergency procedures, situational dependent on emergency. Act as a first responder in any state of emergency that occurs during shift . 5. Perform other duties as assigned by Competitive Sports Administration.
