Complaint & Failure Analysis Technician 2

Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, follows established company policies and procedures and applies acquired job skills to identify and research component failures to improve product quality and reliability.Work with senior staff to define failure analysis strategies based on Mid-Low level investigation trends.Responsible for identifying and researching component failures to improve product quality and reliability.Enter each complaint part/device and investigation results onto a failure analysis databaseMay provide assistance to junior staff with more general support tasks that require a better understanding of functions, as directed by immediate supervisor.May refer to senior staff for assistance with higher level problems that may arise.Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution, as deemed necessary.Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.Using knowledge of product able to provide reliable output on mid to low level investigations as directed by supervisor.

Requirements:

High School Diploma required.Associates Degree in Electrical / Mechanical or related technical field Preferred.0 - 4 years' related technical experience preferredAbility to perform component level troubleshooting with general supervision desirable.Ability to read and understand schematics and assembly drawings is a plus.Good understanding of mechanics.Visa to travel to US is required.Bilingual (English / Spanish). (Required) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Knowledgeable in structured problem solving.Working knowledge of SAP is a plus.Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
