Complaints & Litigation Specialist
Job Location: Must live within a commutable distance of a MetLife Office near Aurora IL, Bloomfield CT, Bridgewater NJ, Cary NC, Clarks Summit PA, Oriskany NY, Tampa FL, Warwick RI, San Juan PR In office once a month for meetings Principal Responsibilities: * Research claims and service complaints using multiple applications and systems. * Partner with the Claims and Service Organizations to bring the complaint to resolution. * Communicate with the complainant, various Departments of Insurance, and internal customers as needed. * Update claim applications with complaint status and resolution. Success in this role requires: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written * Excellent listening skills * Critical thinking and the ability to problem solve * Excels at building partnership and work collaboratively within and across the organization What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications) * Bachelor Degree or equivilant experience * Knowledge of insurance and claim processes preferred * Excellent customer service and communication skills * Critical thinking and detail oriented * Ability to meet strict deadlines * Strong knowledge of MS Word and Excel Equal Employment Opportunity/Disability/Veterans If you need an accommodation due to a disability, please email us at accommodations@metlife.com.
