The ideal candidates will possess the following experience and will be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, nights, weekends:
\n\n\nThree years of finance and accounting experience required.\nThree years of Management experience is required.\nPrevious hotel financial experience is required.\nUnion experience is a preferred. \n\n

Salary range for this position is: $110,000 - $130,000.

What will I be doing?
\n\n
As the Assistant Director of Finance, you would be responsible for assisting in the direction and administration of all financial operations of the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\n\nManage the department to include, but not limited to, managing special projects, monitoring, and developing team member performance, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations, delivering recognition and reward, recruiting, interviewing, and training team members.\nWould prefer accounts payable, general books, payroll.\nPrepare budget and maintain spending controls to ensure budgetary limits are met.\nPrepare annual depreciation schedules for furniture, equipment, building supplies, revisions and alterations.\nReview and approve all ledger account reconciliations including, but not limited to, bank statements, assets liabilities and credit cards.\nCoordinate and review monthly financial statements for accuracy and monitor coding of cash receipts.\nAssist Director with internal daily audits of cash deposits, transfers, and preparation for and monitoring of the capital budget.\nPrepare financial reports, prepare utilities, and telephone accruals, monitor records of inventory and ensure compliance with all established billing and credit standards.\nReview and approve tax returns to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.\nMonitor/approve the transmittal of weekly and biweekly payroll accounts.\n\n\n
