Complex Care Support Worker

You don’t need any previous experience to become a Support Worker with Sense. We’ll give you full training for our roles. 

You will join our amazing Supported Living team in Sheffield supporting individuals with sensory loss in their own home and with fun activities out in the community such as going to the cinema, bowling or walks in the park.

This is a full time, permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week. 

The shifts are varied over a 4-week rota and include a mix of 8am-4pm, 4pm-10pm and 10pm-8am, Monday - Sunday.  Flexibility is essential to support the valuable service we provide.

We are offering an hourly rate from £11.75 with enhanced rates for night shifts, overtime and annual pay reviews/ rises.

Please note, this role may include regular sleep-in shifts paid at £50 a night (This means sleeping over at the residence, with the possibility you might have to wake up to provide care in the night.)
