What will I be doing?
As Complex Director of Operations, you will be responsible for the effective operational management of the two hotels so Heads of Department achieve and exceed their revenue and Guest satisfaction targets. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nWork in conjunction with the General Manager to actively manage key property issues (including capital projects; customer service; refurbishment)\nAssist the development of meaningful, achievable hotel budgets and other short and long term hotel strategic goals\nProvide effective leadership to the hotel management team and team members to ensure targets are met and exceeded\nRespond to audits that are completed by the company to ensure continual improvement is achieved\nPlan, direct and coordinate the service delivery of all operational departments in order to meet and exceed guest expectations\nComply and exceed hotel and company Service Standards\nEnsure that costs are controlled throughout the operational departments and results are analysed regularly to highlight problem areas and take appropriate action\nSeek and respond to Guest feedback in order to achieve positive outcomes and high levels of customer satisfaction\nManages and motivates all front office & housekeeping personnel to include hiring, supervision, training, communicating objectives for the day, disciplining, scheduling and visually monitoring performance to ensure adherence to all service and productivity standards to provide guest satisfaction.\nChecks and controls room reservations, front office systems, supplies inventory, scheduling, forecasting and department budget to maximize revenue. Compile and prepare financial reports, including rate and availability calendar.\nCommunicates with guests and team members both verbally and in writing to answer questions and provide clear direction in advising and instructing staff in details of work. Organize, conduct and/or attend meetings to obtain and disseminate pertinent information.\nImplements and monitors all corporate marketing programs to include Honors, etc.\nWhat are we looking for?

\n\nA degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent\nStrong commercial acumen, preferably with experience in Food and Beverage or Rooms Management\nExperience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results\nIn-depth knowledge of the hotel / leisure / service sector\nStrong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high level of perform and exceed targets\nAccountable and resilient\nAbility to work under pressure\n\nIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
\n\nKnowledge of the hotel property management systems\nPrevious experience in the same or similar role\n\n\n
