Job Description SummaryJoin our team as a Custom Logic Engineer and play a pivotal role in the design and development of cutting-edge products that leverage FPGAs as integral computing elements. In this role, you won't use FPGA for developing the product; the FPGA is part of our products; you'll be embedding your expertise within it. You will be responsible for crafting precise hardware descriptions and, equally important, validating our devices to ensure top-notch performance and reliability, adhering to the rigorous DO-254 standards.Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for leading large Custom Logic projects, designing and developing devices for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.Application and improvement of best practices and skills in developments, as well integrating with other developers.Uses judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.Acts as a mentor for colleagues with less experience. Ability to lead projects with certain risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.Wide experience with FPGA development and hardware design languagesWide experience with verification methods and testbench development such as VHDL directed tests, SystemVerilog, and UVMExperience with high density custom logic designs, FPGA, System on Chip technologiesExperience with contemporary data transfer/communication standards: A664, PCIe, PCI, TSN, 10/100/1000-BaseTDesired Characteristics
Experience requirements-based designs, high-reliability, safe-by-design, design/development methods, DO-254 is a plusExperience with aviation data transfer/communication standards: MIL-STD-1553Work in variety of development team sizesIndependent, clear-thinking, problem solvingStrong oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.Established project management skills.Note:
