About the Role
Support the function head of Macau Compliance to ensure the Company's day-to-day operations in compliance with Macau laws and regulations and to ensure the effective development, implementation and monitoring of local regulatory requirements and the AIA Group standard and requirements.Roles and Responsibilities:
Sales & Product Compliance review and advisory (40%)
Perform compliance review and advice on insurance products or business initiatives, ensuring relevant regulatory requirements are considered to deliver effective product governance;Perform sales & communication material, documentation and agreement review, ensuring and managing the compliance with local regulations and insurer-specific requirements;Review and advise complaint-related matters ensuring the principle of Fair Treatment to Customers.Regular audit, review, monitoring and reporting duties (30%)
Provide compliance review and advice on the Standard Operating Procedures and daily processing on first line of business;Perform compliance monitoring, audit checking, change management or quality assurance review.Regulatory enquiries (20%)
Monitor submission of statutory reporting and maintain timely update on internal and external filing;Facilitate implementation of new or revised regulatory developments;Handle regular enquiries received from the enforcement units and government bodies.Other responsibilities (10%)
Handle project-based or ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.Minimum Job Requirements:
Degree holder in relevant discipline such as Law, Accounting, Finance,or Business Administration;At least 3-5 years working experience; experience in compliance or insurance sector is a definite advantage;Demonstrate effective communication, well-organized, detail-oriented with good problem solving skills;Self-motivated, independent and be able to work under pressure;Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, knowledge in Mandarin is an added advantage.Others:
