Based in our Ringsend office located in Dublin 4, Howden Ireland are delighted to have a vacancy as a Compliance Analyst who will support the Compliance team with all matters and will be an integral part of the organisation. This role is a hybrid working opportunity.About the roleTo provide full support in all compliance matters ensuring that the company operates in compliance with various regulatory and legislative requirements, This role will have the ability to progress within the department and take on additional role responsibilities within a progressive period of time.Additionally, the successful candidate will assist with the maintenance of the Compliance Framework and to ensure the central compliance function operates at the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Compliance team in identifying, assessing and monitoring compliance obligations.Act as a first point of contact for compliance queries.Take responsibility for the input and maintenance of key compliance registers maintained by compliance.Assist with the analysis of regulatory changes.Providing support to ensure the Company is Minimum Competency Code (MCC) compliant.Help create annual training and liaise with relevant bodies to obtain accreditation.Assist in second line of defence audits and quality assurance reviews.Provide support on Anti Money Laundering (AML), Counter Terrorist Financing (CTF) and Data Protection.Assist in the delivery of Compliance projects.Help review compliance risk and update compliance records on CalQRisk.Liaise with Compliance Ireland, Brokers Ireland, Insurance Institute or other relevant third parties as required.Assist in preparation of compliance policies and procedures.Assist in ensuring the Company processes and procedures are compliant.Support with any internal compliance training requirements for the business.About You:
Minimum of two years’ experience within the Insurance or financial services Industry with knowledge of the CPC and MCC guidelines an advantage.Willingness to progress towards a compliance qualificationProject management is an advantage.Broker experience is desirable.Strong collaborative skills with the ability to resolve problems effectively.Stakeholder management at the forefront of what you do.Excellent organisational skills, with ability to prioritise and multi-task.IT skills with particular reference to presentation of information.Ability to meet deadlines and work in a busy environmentWhat do we offer in return?A career that you define.
