Job Description: 

We’re looking for a Compliance Associate to join our team at MBPS.

Key Responsibilities: 

 Support the Global HR CW Name scanning Team by reviewing first-level daily alerts and backlog Bridger alerts to identify and mitigate any potential reputational risks that clients may pose to Manulife.Conduct first pass review of all daily, weekly, monthly generated alerts and escalate any potential true matches to Local Compliance (LC).Ensure that the Bridger feed file is uploaded daily, weekly, and monthly, and verify the completion of scanning by sending summary reports of the feed file scans. (Detailed steps will be provided in the Bridger SOP.)Notify Local Compliance and Local Operations of any gaps or discrepancies through email escalation.Follow AML guidelines and apply enhanced due diligence for Politically Exposed Persons, high-risk clients, and in accordance with government regulations.Provide a weekly volume report to Local Compliance to ensure transparency regarding the number of remaining and reviewed alerts.

Qualifications: 

Strong written and verbal communication skills.Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).High accuracy and attention to detail.Strong judgment and decision-making skills.Proactive with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Additional Considerations:

Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.Internal candidates should have no attendance issues or disciplinary actions and should consistently meet or exceed metrics and job requirements over the past 6 months.Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree.Preferred: 1 year of experience in finance, insurance operations, or compliance-related work.
