NHC Corporate Office located in beautiful Murfreesboro, TN is looking for a Compliance Auditor to join our Compliance Team!
Under the direction of the Corporate Compliance Audit Manager, candidate will:
Ensure that the company is adhering to any federal and state regulations relevant to business. Review and enforce compliance with standards or regulations imposed by professional organizations or internal guidelines. Ensure compliance with regulations and controls by examining and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation. Complete audit work papers and memorandums by documenting audit tests and findings. Communicate audit progress and findings by preparing reports and providing information in meetings. Design required training programs for compliance procedures. Develop and/or review compliance policies. Maintain knowledge of all required regulations.Candidates must be:
Knowledgeable of applicable State and Federal health care regulations, professional licensure regulations and Medicare/Managed Care/Medicaid requirements. Able to assimilate regulatory guidelines and apply information to review/audit tasks and educational trainings. Able to determine areas of risk and conduct audits as outlined in NHC’s Audit Work Plan. Able to develop and provide education to NHC partners based on audit findings, inquiries from NHC partners, and regulatory changes and updates. Proficient in appeals management of denied claims. Able to develop audit work plans and data collection tools. Able to assist in development of corrective action plans and validate completion. Proficient in developing written policies and procedures. Able to objectively conduct compliance investigations. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point applications. Able to maintain confidentiality. Able to work autonomously and maintain flexibility in order to meet multiple deadlines. Morally fit, honest, and capable of making judgments related to the compliance program. Possess excellent analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification:
Nursing or other health-related degree Minimum of 3 years experience in behavioral health hospital or hospital compliance.
