Compliance controls testing
Our Client, a Mortgage Financing company, is looking for a Compliance Controls Testing for their Washington, DC/Remote location. Responsibilities: + Conducting controls testing and analyzing results + Leading test inquiry meetings with internal control owners + Reviewing related policies, procedures, and job aids + Selecting the sample of transactions to be tested + Collecting and assessing evidence of control operation + Preparing analysis and documenting test results in the system of record (MetricStream) + Tracking identified issues through remediation + Identifying and escalating issues to management promptly Requirements: + Compliance Controls Tester to perform controls testing related to compliance with laws or regulations, operating and design effectiveness assessment, mortgage-backed security (MBS) trust agreements, and supervisory guidance across multiple business units to evaluate control operating effectiveness. + Experience conducting controls testing in compliance, audit, operational risk or related function + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Ability to work collaboratively as a team member to facilitate effective enterprise-wide compliance + Ability to complete projects/tests efficiently with high attention to detail and excellent time management skills + Bachelor’s degree required; industry certification (e.g., CCEP, PMP etc.) preferred + 8-10 years of experience + Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field Yes + Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 3 + Excellent knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) 3 + Client and Financial Industry experience desired Yes + Knowledge of requirement tools, such as Rational Requisite Pro 3 + Master degree preferred.
