Purpose of the job
Conduct reviews of MillerKnoll and Knoll products to determine GSA eligibility using existing data available in Tableau as well as MillerKnoll and Knoll operating systems (JDE, Baan, MySign). Data analyst will receive decision trees and instructions on how to access necessary data to perform reviews and will liaise with the Trade Compliance team for any questions or issues. Data analyst may need to liaise with manufacturing and sourcing teams / suppliers to make qualification decisions. Data analyst will document each qualification using the template provided and file qualification decisions in the Trade Compliance share drive in Microsoft Teams. Product qualifications will be for sets of rules TAA (Trade Agreements Act), BAA (Buy American Act), and BABAA (Build America, Buy America Act) in support of GSA sales. Data Analyst will be tasked with the review of all products sold by MK and the creation of product lists under each set of regulations for ease of use for GSA sales team. For example, “Which of MK’s products qualify under the BABAA?”
Specific responsibilities
Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work between a number of MillerKnoll information systems to obtain critical information.Work effectively in HM & Knoll bill of materials, Smart Sheet, MySign, Tableau, MS Excel, MS WordWork effectively in Excel to perform calculations and present output - BOMs.Ability to learn and work with Trade Compliance, established procedures and business systems to generate country of origin determinations as well as GSA qualification decisions for MillerKnoll products.Able to work collaboratively with other departments and suppliers.Gather complete product and compliance information from suppliers for current and new products.Keep up to date with GSA sales requests and GSA-related Trade Compliance changes.Retain and share GSA information, statistics and evidence for use by GSA Sales team and Trade Compliance.Able to work independentlySets an example for others in the attitude exhibited and the high standard in the quantity and quality of the work completed.Performs additional responsibilities as requested.Be able to work during EST business hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) or at a minimum partially within those hours.Communicate frequently with key stakeholders on assigned project teamsMinimum Requirements (Key Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

Working ability to function in production business operating systems: Knoll JD Edwards, Herman Miller Baan and MySign, Geiger engineers and systems, other brands and retail as needed.
Working ability to document, communicate and collaborate within the MillerKnoll environment utilizing, voice mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet access, and other productivity tools.
Working ability to solve system problems and create new solutions. Identify and promote new and improved methods for accomplishing the essential functions of the job.

Essential:
College Level education A minimum of two years proven experience. Should be willing to work in flexible time as per business needs. Proficient in Excel
Preferred:
Prior experience in MillerKnoll systems or compliance field Previous employment with an International company
