Data Compliance Coordinator

Reports to
Data Reporting Manager

Primary Purpose

The Data Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for submitting WCPOLS data to Workers Compensation Bureaus and tracking the associated error reports. This position will also be responsible for logging the Bureau criticisms and coordinating communication related to those.

Essential Functions

Submit WCPOLS transactions to NCCI/ Independent Bureaus according to department procedure. Monitor department mailbox and Bureau websites for errors and criticisms related to WCPOLS submissions. Log and maintain bureau criticisms tracking according to department procedure and notify any external parties for resolution. Monitor fineable criticisms and work with others to ensure resolution prior to fine dates. Pull experience modification rating data from NCCI/Independent Bureaus. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Required Education and Experience

2 years of college or equivalent work experienceExperience in workers compensation insurance preferred

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., however additional hours may be required based on the business needs.
