*Reporting to the Superintendent of Environment you will be part of the Environment Department. You will be responsible for leading compliance improvement and compliance reporting across the site and ensuring tracking of our compliance progress. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Understand the licences, approvals, and conditions for operations and exploration across Hope Bay belt; Have good understanding of Federal, Territorial legislation and regulations; Work with Indigenous agreements and organizations; Work with regulators, internal stakeholders; Review and support regulatory reports (NWB Monitoring Report, KIA Report, etc.); Support internal AEM reports, corporate KPI, environmental performance reports; Complete required communications with Inspectors/Regulators/Officers about operational aspects; Prepare and assist in Regulator responses and follow up; Support annual report organization, writing and review; Attend applicable meetings; Assist with Management Plans/Procedure/SOP review/update; Provide support to manage the RMMS/TSM items; Assist in compliance of operations, construction and exploration with regulations/permits/plans; Ensure follow up and actions on non-conformities with Coordinator/Technicians; Notify of any non-conformities and assist in correctives actions; Conduct QA/QC on monitoring compliance activities; Liaise with Permitting, Technical Services, Project Engineers and Planners with data requests and provide support if needed. *Reporting to the Superintendent of Environment you will be part of the Environment Department. Schedule\: Hybrid with ability to travel to site up to one week per month with some flexibility to accommodate regulatory site inspections; Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.#LI-SS1
