Job Description

 

This role will be primarily for environmental compliance activities of hydraulic pump, motor, valve & fluid conveyance products. It will be based out of Pune, reporting to Sustainability Product compliance at India Pune

Ensure product environmental compliance declaration through industry regulation review and product details assessment Thorough understanding of environmental regulations & requirements, like REACH, RoHS, PFAS, Conflict Minerals, Machinery Directives, WEEE Awareness of product certification & industry legislative requirements Submit various industry regulation compliance declaration in IMDS/CDX Proficient in decoding the material flow from top assembly to child level & vice versa Proficient in basic engineering calculations for material density, weight & part sizing Experience in exploring, interpreting and decoding various material grades in metal to non-metal & it’s composition Thorough understanding of engineering drawing reading & technical notes interpretation Mechanical component & hydraulic product/system awareness Awareness of manufacturing processes and coating/plating surface treatments Practitioner of large data handling, analytics & dashboards Can plan, monitor and track project activities Familiarity with Data base management system like PLM/ERP and salesforce Developing process flow, knowing interdependencies and continuous improvement Stakeholder Management & KPI monitoring Background & Skills

• BE/B.TECH In Mechanical engineering with 2-4 years of relevant experience in engineering/product design experience in relevant domain.

• Good in excel, MS Office

• Good communication and presentation skills

• Power BI & Power App experience added advantage
