ISS STOXX is growing! ISS STOXX is actively seeking a Compliance Fraud Risk Assessment Specialist to join the Mumbai team (Goregaon East).
Overview:
The ISS STOXX Compliance department is looking to add a Compliance Fraud Risk Assessment Specialist in building out its Compliance Management System (CMS) in relation to Business Partners as well as Criminal Offenses. This individual will primarily have day-to-day responsibility for the organization and performance of 2nd line of defense compliance processes in relation to International Sanctions, Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Criminal Offenses. The reporting line will be to the Head of Governance & Corporate Compliance.
Responsibilities:
Drafting and updating of policies and procedures relating to International Sanctions, Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Criminal Offenses.
Creating and maintaining a code of conduct and compliance clauses for Business Partners
Performing risks assessments in relation to the policy topics
Designing dedicated risk assessment framework on Criminal Offenses
Cooperation with the Procurement on the onboarding of Business Partners
Work with the dedicated control functions in Compliance to review and test first line compliance controls, identify potential gaps and advise on mitigating measures
Perform investigations on issues and incidents relating to relevant matters
Oversee sanctions monitoring services provided by third parties
Deliver reports to stakeholders
Contribute to Customer Due Diligence and internal and external audits
Qualifications:
Master's/Bachelor's degree in any related field is preferred.
Three years' experience in a similar role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Independent initiative and critical thinking skills.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office.
