We work to address regulatory issues, ensure compliance with current/developing rules and regulations, and correspond with regulators. Bloomberg has regulated activities that include regulated trading venues (e.g., U.K. Multilateral Trading Facility, U.S. Swap Execution Facility), MIFID II benchmark activities, a U.S. broker-dealer, and other regulated offerings globally. /divdivbr/divdivstrongThe Role: /strong/divdivBased in Singapore, this is a great opportunity to join a dynamically growing local KYC Team and also work closely with the regional Anti-money Laundering (AML) and Compliance group. As a Know Your Customer Due Diligence Analyst, you will be focused on the onboarding and maintenance of corporate/professional clients for Bloomberg Businesses. You will leverage your deep understanding of the front-to-end customer due diligence process and be well versed with legal entity types. We would love you to bring strong competent knowledge of current UK and local APAC regulatory requirements and relevant financial industry knowhow concerning the Customer Due Diligence standards. /divdivbr/divdivstrongWell trust you to: /strong/divdivulliOnboard new clients /liliConduct event or time driven periodic reviews /liliAnalyse corporate structures and validate documentation to ensure compliance with internal procedures /liliAccurately risk assess new and existing clients, resolving appropriate issues where required /liliIdentify potential AML concerns to appropriate senior management during the onboarding and ongoing review process /liliManage multiple expectations of business partners and front office sales teams /liliRespond to client enquiries, assisting on client calls when necessary /liliPerform Politically Exposed Person (PEP), Sanction and Adverse Media screening and analyse the results to eliminate or confirm matches /liliPerform client static data updates within the internal systems /liliAs part of the broader Compliance team, provide Compliance support to the broad range of businesses operated by Bloomberg LP. /liliDevelop and conduct training for sales and team members as and when necessary /liliEngage directly with clients in region and assist with Client queries /li/ulbr/divdivstrongYoull need to have: /strong/divdivulliKYC experience in Financial Services or a Financial Technology company /liliExperience of standard AML requirements including local Money Laundering Regulations in Singapore /liliExperience with PEPs, Sanctions and Adverse Media screening /liliExperience of analysing complex company legal structures /liliThe ability to meet strict deadlines / set targets /liliDedication to resolve pending queries or concerns in a timely manner /liliStrong communication and Great attention to detail /liliDemonstrated continuous career growth within an organisation /liliStrong presentation and communication skills in English /li/ulbr/divdivstrongWed love to see: /strong/divdivulliExperience of CDD Quality Assurance /liliExperience onboarding clients incorporated in different jurisdictions within APAC /liliDetailed and practical knowledge of KYC/AML requirements for Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia /liliIn-House Financial Services experience /liliA motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, open-plan environment /liliAdditional Asian language as this role will cover the whole Asia-Pacific region /li/ul/divdivbr/divdivstrongIf this sounds like you: /strong/divdivApply if you think we’re a good match.
