Position Overview

QinetiQ US is looking for a Compliance Manager to join our team.

 

The Compliance Manager will be responsible for overseeing government submissions, leading or supporting DCAA/DCMA audits and reviews, ensuring policies and procurement are in line with federal regulations, and serving as a subject matter expert for the company.

 

The role involves planning and directing government compliance efforts, including compliance with government procurement laws and regulations, as well as overseeing government contract compliance audits and training functions.

 

The role will be hybrid and require at least 3 days’ onsite at our Tyson’s location.

Responsibilities Ensuring that processes and procedures are in place for the time entry of hours and other charges in compliance with federal government regulations and contract provisions.Serve as primary contact for DCMA cost monitor and DCAA audit staffSupport DCMA cost monitoring activities including preparation and coordination of quarterly actualsProvide meaningful interpretation of rate impacts on financial resultsParticipate in ongoing training and maintain current knowledge on FAR, FAR Supplements, CAS, and DCAA accounting complianceOversee updates to CAS Disclosure statements reflecting current accounting practices and oversee development/monitoring, submission and publishing of all rates, and Incurred Cost Submission.Influence leadership decisions to ensure appropriate cost structure for government business including rates, allocations, etc.Develop, coordinate, and/or conduct compliance-related training as neededCreate and maintain critical policy and procedure documentation rated to finance and/or compliance matters including compliance with DFARS Accounting, Purchasing, Estimating, EVMS, Property, and Materials management systems.”Interface with DCAA, DCMA and other government representatives, responding to government audits and coordinating corrective actions as necessaryContinuously evaluate, maintain and develop alternatives to existing cost accounting rate structure for optimal business operationPerform all other related duties as assigned Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.Must have Experience with Deltek Costpoint software.Must have a minimum of 10-15 years accounting experience working in the government contracting industry.Experience leading compliance programs along with excellent relationships with internal customers, external customers, and regulatorsExpert understanding of the FAR / DFARS / CAS and leading the development of policies, processes, and proceduresProven ability to assess, interpret, and appl government and industry standards, specification, and handbooks to the unique requirements of taskingHands on experience building indirect rate models, completing incurred cost submission, and updating disclosure statementKnowledge of accounting practices, pricing and contracts in a government contractor or project-based environmentRecommends, maintains, and updates, as appropriate, policies and procedures, processes, and internal control manuals.Strong understanding of internal controls and segregation of dutiesStrong understanding of accounting principles and a sound ethical approach to areas of responsibility and work productExcellent organizational and analytical skillsExcellent written and oral communication and outstanding attention to detailBe known as a collaborator and strong project management skillsExpertise in Microsoft Office Products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Preferred Qualifications Experience in managing a strong plus Company EEO Statement
