Compliance Manager
Location: Erickson Senior Living Join our team as Compliance Manager to develop, coordinate, implement, and manage compliance activities for Erickson Senior Living. **What** **we offer** + A culture of diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging, which builds on our mission, vision and values + Medical, dental and vision packages, including an annual reimbursement for qualified wellness expenses, personal health coaching and telemedicine options + PTO Plans, PLUS company paid volunteer hours for eligible team members, in accordance with applicable state law + 401k for all team members 18 and over with a company 3% match + Onsite medical centers, providing wellness visits and sick care for all team members over 18 years of age + Free access to our on-site Team member Health and Well-Being Centers, plus Well-Being programs, tools and resources for you and your immediate family members + Education assistance, certification reimbursement and access to over 6,000 courses through our online learning library, designed to enhance your current skills and build new ones + Growth Opportunities – grow with the company as we open new communities and expand on our existing ones! **How** **you will make an impact** + Support the coordination of compliance audits performed by the Compliance Department and Health Operations Department, conducted at the ESL Home Office and ESL-managed communities + Support Compliance and Privacy program education initiatives and under the direction of the Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer, monitor annual training completion in Workday and develop reports, as needed. + Support compliance, information security and privacy investigations, which includes information intake, employee interviews, report writing and closure of investigations. + Support, with the compliance team, ESL’s Third-Party Risk Management (“TPRM”) program to ensure consistent identification, analysis, response, and monitoring of third-party risks, incidents, and vulnerabilities + Assess new vendor relationships to identify specific risks that should be evaluated and monitored; initiate evaluations as needed + Work with ESL business units, internal teams, and third-party vendors to achieve program requirements while enabling the business to make decisions regarding risk mitigation + Manage the NAVEX Ethics Point database, the Compliance Department incident tracking and hotline system, including case entry, case updates and case closure; develop reportable metrics for quarterly Compliance Committee + Partner with the Compliance Department to conduct HIPAA related compliance activities to include the HIPAA walk around and provide guidance, under the direction of the Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer, for ESL -managed community documentation coordinators as applicable Compensation: $80000.00-$95000.00 per year, plus eligibility for annual bonus **What you will need** + Experience working in a healthcare compliance or legal position for a minimum of four years + Knowledge of or willingness to learn, federal and state regulatory requirements related to healthcare privacy, security and compliance, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, new State privacy regulatory requirements, federal billing, coding and documentation requirements, Stark and Federal False Claims Act.
