Job Title: Compliance Manager

Location: Shanghai, China

Responsibilities:

Support China Compliance Senior Manager to foster ethical behavior, take lead of different compliance projects to ensure the China growth on the right track.Conduct compliance reviews and approvals on different activities.Develop compliance policies and SOPs, and conduct training to ensure the policy implementation.Monitor and identify compliance risks, coordinate control improvements and check implementation status. Support ad hoc risk monitoring and audits upon requests whenever needed.Continually provide advice and guidance to business from compliance aspect. Take oversight of key decision points to ensure appropriate decisions are made on key activities.Support compliance initiatives such as risk assessment/Compliance Week/Compliance Champion and follow up the remediation action.Support Due Diligence screening on third party engagement, identify red flags and suggest follow-up actions to mitigate risks.Support investigations if needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 6-8 years of work experience directly relevant in Compliance and/or Operations with substantial exposure to China bribery laws, FCPA and UK Anti-Bribery Act preferably in the pharmaceutical/medical device industries or other healthcare industry.Bachelor degree or above. Legal background is preferred. Advanced degree, CPA certification, UK Bribery Act certification, audit experience, or Juris Doctorate a plus.Thorough working knowledge of compliance and regulatory affairs (familiar with trade compliance, import/export affairs, or EHS regulatory affairs are welcome).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong ability in working independently and under pressure, can-do attitude and self-motivated with bias for actionProven integrity and high ethical standardsExcellent communication in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is necessary  Strong competence in strategic planning and execution of commercial compliance programs.Position is located in Shanghai, China
