Compliance Manager (US/LATAM)

We are committed to creating an environment where every team member feels included, respected, empowered, and recognized. **What You Can Expect** The role, situated within the Global Compliance Audit, Monitoring, and Analytics (GCMA) team and reporting to the GCMA VP, is responsible for managing and executing global compliance monitoring activities for the U.S. and LATAM regions, collectively referred to as the "Americas." **Key Responsibilities** + Support and contribute to the global compliance audit and monitoring annual risk assessments, to identify and evaluate compliance risks. + Develop and manage the Americas annual monitoring plan, including both live and transaction monitoring activities. + Provide actionable insights and value-added recommendations to Americas Regional Compliance Officers and business stakeholders. + Collaborate with the GCMA Leadership to ensure alignment with global compliance strategies and objectives. + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices. **How You'll Create Impact** + Lead Global Compliance Monitoring: Oversee transaction and live monitoring activities. Transaction monitoring covers various data types, including T&E, HCP meals, HCP payments, third-party pricing, credits, and disbursements. Live monitoring involves attending events such as third-party sponsorships, advisory boards, consulting events, and ZB-organized medical educational events. + Manage Daily Operations: Supervise and ensure the performance of assigned monitoring tasks, executing detailed procedures as required by projects. + Present Analysis Outcomes: Communicate the results of analyses and drive corrective actions to address and correct non-compliant behaviors. + Draft Monitoring Reports: Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to the leadership team and stakeholders through comprehensive reports. + Apply Business Acumen: Conduct monitoring activities that enhance the organization's governance, risk, and control environments by proactively identifying issues and providing management with advice and best practice recommendations. + Participate in Initiatives: Engage in business initiatives and special projects to promote continuous improvement and efficiency. + Oversee Remediation Efforts: Monitor remediation efforts to completion and advise on control requirements for new systems or process designs. + Collaborate with Data Analytics: Work closely with the Data Analytics team to perform transaction analyses, identify patterns and outliers, and suggest additional analytics and key risk indicators to effectively monitor compliance risks as the company evolves. **What Makes You Stand Out** + Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing abilities. + Versatile Functionality: Proven capability to operate at various levels, from detailed hands-on work to high-level strategic thinking, with effective communication across all management tiers. + Effective Prioritization: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines. + Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment. + Continuous Improvement: Fosters a culture of continuous improvement by challenging the status quo and encouraging innovation. + Analytical Excellence: Excellent analytical skills, including data collection and interpretation to draw valid conclusions. + Problem-Solving Proficiency: Strong problem-solving abilities. + Independent Performance: Ability to perform job responsibilities with minimal oversight. + Proven track record in compliance monitoring, ideally within a global context. + Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manage complex data. + Excellent written and verbal communication, along with strong interpersonal skills. + Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. + In-depth understanding of healthcare compliance requirements in the U.S. and LATAM regions. + A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. + Experience with a “Big Four” accounting firm is highly desirable. + Preferably experienced in the Life Sciences industry. + Familiarity with SAP and power BI. + Experience in building and using data analytics tools is a plus. **Travel Expectations** ~30%, including internationally EOE/M/F/Vet/Disability Expected Compensation Range: $111k to $130k, plus target bonus
