The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SOC2 compliance and possess excellent client-facing skills. This role is critical in ensuring our company adheres to regulatory requirements and maintains the trust of our clients.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in accordance with ISO 27001 standards. Knowledge of SOC2 is beneficial.Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance and certifications are maintained. Serve as the primary point of contact for client audit requirements, requests for information, any compliance-related inquiries, new business engagements and maintaining security whitepapers.Collaborate with internal teams to address concerns and implement corrective actions.Monitor and report on compliance metrics and trends to senior management.Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters.Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices.Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degreeMinimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role within the financial industry.In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and requirements.Proven experience in a client-facing role, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar are a plus.About us:
