The team & opportunity:
Downers Energy & Utilities business are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team within Power Projects. Your objective in this position is to support the operations team with competency framework and plant management compliance.
This is a full-time permanent position that will ideally be based in our Milton, Brisbane office however flexible working options are available for the right candidate.
Some key responsibilities include:
Manage and maintain Downer competency management systems. Develop and maintain business training needs matrices alongside the Downer L&D team. Support project plant management risk assessment, manage machinery compliance, governance and corrective action reporting. Support apprentice block training and competency requirements. Provide input to tenders relevant to competency and plant management.Our ideal candidate:
You will have the ability to implement, drive and maintain change which will assist in achieving your purpose and targets within this role.
Experience in a similar role supporting a large project-based environment. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is preferred. Knowledge and/or experience using plant and competency management systems is preferred. Ability to adapt to different systems including internal and client-based programs. Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.What’s in it for you?
