Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/.   Compliance Officer Location: Prague Contract: full time, maternity cover The Global Services Finance organization provides best-in-class, cost-effective financial services, and compliance support — in a J&J way — to our Operating Companies around the world. Risk Management & Compliance (RM&C) is one of such initiative under Global Services Finance. We are seeking an EMEA BU MedTech RM&C Analyst, who will have responsibility for fulfilment of the SOX and Compliance programs across J&J entities, training and advisory along with all Compliance related support and performing walkthroughs, sampling, testing the effectiveness of control deployment, documentation of testing results, remediation support, monitoring, audit support, project support etc. The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have: + Support management in maintaining a strong internal control environment, through implementation of SOX processes and financial controls, according to Johnson & Johnson policies and standards + Proactively identify operational and financial risks within local affiliates and propose efficient solutions to mitigate those risks + Look to optimize the business processes/operations impacted by compliance (e.g. via Continuous Improvement, Innovation and Technology) + Identifying & addressing various compliance issues via strong stakeholder engagement, collaboration and proactive assistance of local affiliates in relation to remediation, improvement and enhancement of processes + Review J&J corporate guidelines (e.g. ICG, WWP, CRM, RCM, DTP, etc) and related communications to ensure local affiliates processes and controls remain compliant and up-to-date + Ensure sufficient training is delivered in alignment with local compliance training program to enhance & strengthen embedded compliance awareness + Ensure full alignment with relevant management & create strong business partnerships between all stakeholders, promoting the end-to-end approach + Regular, effective interactions with other GS Compliance team members, other GS departments & other assurance functions (e.g. GPO, GAA, GTAAS, GS SOX, PwC, etc) + Provide relevant audit support (e.g. SOX 404 testing, GAA Risk Based Reviews, etc) to local affiliates + Proactively communicate and report on findings and status of CAP to applicable management + Coordinate the compliance Corrective Action Plan (CAP) process with the company and applicable management to ensure internal control gaps are closed timely & effectively **Qualifications** We would love to hear from YOU, if you have: + A minimum of a Bachelor’s level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting, finance, or related business subject area. + ACCA, CPA, CMA, CIMA, CIA and/or other financial certifications are highly preferred. + At least 3 years’ experience from role(s) in either finance / accounting / compliance environment + Preferred – Experience in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts + Ability to work independently, manage workload and prioritize tasks, as required ·“Can do” attitude – ability to manage complex and ambiguous situations using own judgment + Project management & Coordination capabilities + Ability to interact with Senior Leadership teams + Strong collaboration and business partnership skills + Strong business acumen and customer orientation + Strong analytical and communication skills This is what awaits YOU at J&J: + An opportunity to be part of a global market leader. + A dynamic and inspiring working environment. + Many opportunities to work on challenging projects and assignments. + An opportunity to participate in employee engagement activities on a voluntary basis based on individual preference + Possibilities for further personal as well as professional development. + Many employees benefits For more than 130 years, diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) has been a part of our cultural fabric at Johnson & Johnson and woven into how we do business every day.
